This blog is about food (most of the time).  I follow a Paleo or Primal diet template and eat no grain or legumes.   I try not to buy any processed foods and to do all of the processing myself.  In the last year or two, I have taught myself how to make fermented foods like sauerkraut and kombucha, and I have taught myself to make canned foods like pickles and tomatoes.  My husband Karl and I are lucky to live in Virginia where plenty of grass-fed beef, forest fed pig, and pastured chickens can be found.
